CALYX: My Mother, the Mirror

My Mother, the Mirror

After the divorce
She shyly stood
Naked
In front
Of me
And said
how can i show
this body
to anyone?
And I watched
With a curious
Confusion
Wondering
How that body
That grew me
Like a hunger
Could recoil
At its own
Reflection
